This model is designed soley for the highest speed for IOM yachts. It must not be used in larger classes. 
It has even faster gear ratio than the previous EF models. This is to reduce the gear loads due to the extra power of the Mabuchi RK370-4540 motor. This has led to the need to drop the drum size from 32 on the EF models down to 26. Even so, speed is slighly faster than the 290EF.

Standard drum for this winch is 26s. May also be used with the 45ZS3 drum.

32s and 32st drums must not be used.
55mm spiral drums must not be used..
